Susan is simply a stellar organizer and a deeply dedicated advocate for our environment. The combination of her passion for the well being of the planet and her formidable organizing skills are truly a gift to the greater movement for sustainability. It was a joy to work alongside her to curate the Northern California Permaculture Convergence/Transition Initiative Conference. She managed a heavy load coupled with competing interests with grace. I hope to have the opportunity to collaborate with Susan again. When I see how long a road we have yet to travel to bring balance to our environment, I am heartened that Susan is helping lead the charge
