With humanity at a crossroads from unprecedented ecological and social challenges, now more than ever leaders and citizens from all sectors – from community leaders to government officials – must come together to build resilient and regenerative communities, rooted in equity. Guiding Principles

Respect for the Earth

I recognize the interconnection of all systems and species, working toward a healing balance of human systems in harmony with natural systems. I personally strive as fully as possible to be mindful of environmental practices, and work with organizations who commit to doing the same.

People Care

I am committed to practicing radical inclusivity regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, economic status, age, disability, and religious belief or disbelief. I am committed to working with organizations who are striving for healthy systems of food, governance, education, health, and labor.

Equity and Fair Share

I stand united with individuals and organizations who share the vision of equitable communities and systems that support us in flourishing as individuals, as communities, and as a planet. I actively engage in practices that allow all people to access the education and resources  needed to thrive.

Communication and Conflict Resolution

I am committed to respectful communication with my colleagues, and to handling conflicts in a regenerative and respectful way, including providing and accepting constructive feedback. I standing for The Four Agreements: 1) Don’t take things personally. 2) Be impeccable with my word. 3) Don’t make assumptions, while taking personal responsibility for my actions.  4) I try to always do my best.

Anti-Racism and White Allyship

I strive to prioritize co-creating projects and programs with individuals from marginalized, underrepresented and oppressed groups (eg. people of color, Indigenous, queer-trans, non-majority languages including Spanish and ASL, families with young children). I strive to leverage my privilege and use it to help and be an ally. I strive to go beyond tokenism.

Community

I strive to develop real, authentic relationships with individuals. I strive to attend and be of support for projects and events that are being organized by communities of color and Indigenous communities.
