Susan Silber is a visionary who started a nonprofit to realize this vision. I worked with Susan when she was founder/executive director of the NorCal Resilience Network, to build community capacities via programs, funding and policies to increase community resilience. Susan is an proven grassroots organizer, with pioneering expertise in community resilience, and more than an understanding of resilience hubs– she founded and built out the concept in Northern California through funding, training sessions and online resources.
