Community-based organizations offer some of the most compelling and innovative approaches and strategies to climate resilience, yet are some of the most under-funded. 90% of environmental funding goes to just 10% of the biggest organizations.

“The way funders have been investing in marginalized- communities-led organizations has been deeply inequitable, often ineffective, and causing leaders of color, leaders with disabilities, and LGBTQ leaders to leave the sector at a time when they are desperately needed.” (Vuj, NonProfit Journal).
