Grant Writing 101 Course 

for Climate Justice Change Makers

 In 2022 I organized a 7-week online grant writing course  which focused on grant writing basics, from research to writing proposals to creating budgets. By the end of course participants came away with a proposal that they were ready to share with funders! The course was designed especially for climate justice and resilience hubs organizers and was co-sponsored by Bay Area Green Tours and the City of San Leandro’s Office of Sustainability.  Topics included: 

• Proposal readiness: setting your organization up for success
• Researching and building relationships with funders
• Writing excellent proposals: project descriptions, narratives, budgets and more
